Theodore Anthony Stokes, age 20. Sunrise September 8, 1996 and Sunset August 31, 2017. Theodore was a member of St. John Baptist Church; he loved sports and rapping. Theodore was preceded in death by his grandparents Berdell Davis and Gary Jones. Left to cherish his memory, parents, Barbara L. Gavin (Tyrone May) and Sean E. (Rise) Ford; girlfriend, Tamara Fletcher; grandparents, Ora Newton, Mary Ann Dortch and Bill Smoot; great grandmother, Daisy Jones; brothers, Shawntaye Gavin, Michael Robinson, Dashawn Packer, Mikhail Packer, Jaden Ford and Brandon Sanders; sisters, Toshawna (Kristopher) Bell, Cantel (Omar) Gavin Dondasse, Shana Scales, Brittney Scales, Desaree Robinson, Mikayla Robinson, Shana Jackson, Jenetta Green, Jleha Obey and Tia Ayers; special aunt and uncle, Cynthia and Darrin Gavin; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation 10 a.m. and Funeral 11 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at Victory Deliverance Church, 1718 Myrtle Ave. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences. The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family. We meet monthly in Columbus from 7-9 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. If and when you are ready to do so, please join us. We need Not Walk Along. We are The Compassionate Friends.
