Davis Theresa Marie (McFadden) Davis, age 66, went to heaven with her family at her side on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, in Columbus, Ohio. She grew up in St. Louis, MO, graduated from Marion Catholic High School in OH, and most recently lived in St. Louis. There she took care of her 88 year old father and worked at a woman's shelter, Our Lady's Inn. She returned to Columbus to receive medical care ( Terrie's loved ones will miss her vibrant appreciation of life, family, faith, music and sweets. Ever a champion of those who were less fortunate she taught her sons and encouraged all she met to respect the value of others. Although struggling herself, she and her boys could be found volunteering at soup kitchens, food banks, and homeless shelters. Preceded in death by her mother Margaret McFadden and infant brother Daniel Patrick McFadden. Survived by her sons, Michael (Debbie), Jeff (Jackie), Dan, and Chris (Lisa); grandchildren, who will miss her swing-around hugs, Erin (12), Margaret (10), Jack (13), Brennan (12), Aidan (7), Lily (11), Amelia (8), Oscar (7), Shannon (14), Brian (11), Megan (9), and Gwendolyn (6); father, Robert McFadden; siblings, Gregory McFadden, Catherine (John) Marrin, Joan (Red) Nienkirchen, Timothy McFadden; nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday, November 9, from 9- 10:45 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Dr., Columbus, OH, where Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. The family invites attendees of either the visiting hours or Mass to bring a canned food donation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady's Inn ( Private family inurnment. Arrangements by SOUTHWICK-GOOD & FORTKAMP FUNERAL CHAPEL.
