Baldwin Thomas E. Baldwin, 82, of Marysville, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown. He was retired from the Ohio State University. In retirement, he worked as a rural mail carrier for 10 years in Raymond. He was a lifetime member of the Marysville First United Methodist Church where he served on various committees through the years. He also was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, the former Ercell B. Birchfield whom he married July 21, 1955 at the Marysville First United Methodist Church by Rev. William Wilcher; children, Bambi J. (James) Gardner of Marysville, Judith K. (Michael) Heil of West Mansfield, Thomas Gale (Tina) Baldwin of Maysel, WVa, Edward Alan (Jan) Baldwin of Lewis Center; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two sisters. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the INGRAM FUNERAL HOME, where funeral service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. James Gardner officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. In Thomas' memory, contributions may be made to the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, or Cross Roads Hospice of Cincinnati in care of the funeral home.
