Victoria Angela Vetere, age 66, of Worthington, OH, passed away peacefully Friday, April 27, 2018 following a brief illness. Victoria was born on January 29, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA to Ralph and Helen (Slota) Vetere. She graduated from Peabody High School. She received her Bachelor's degree in English and Psychology from the University of PA in 1973. She went on to receive her Masters in Sport Psychology & Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo; Ontario, Canada in 1977, and later her PhD in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 1987. Vicky, known by her patients as "Dr V", was many things to many people. She was a devoted daughter, dedicated Enlightened Life Coach, psychologist, psychotherapist, author of 'Enlightenment Appetizers: A Taste of Enlightenment in Everyday Life' (Balboa Press), writer, speaker, consultant, avid reader, and co-host of a Blog radio talk show "Chai Chat" which focused on transforming the world of work. Her motto was "be the light, share the enlightenment". Giving back was always very important to Victoria. She was passionate about art and animals, especially cats which she referred to as 'poetry in motion'. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Vetere, in 2013. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Helen; long time dear friend, Pia Truman; and many relatives, friends, colleagues and patients. Sincere special thanks to her neighbors Bonnie and Randell Bodnar, Kathy and Tom Misiuk of Always Best Care, and the caregivers at Capital City Hospice for their kind and loving care of Victoria during her illness. A memorial service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 9571 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, OH 43035 on Monday, May 21 (Victoria Day-Canada) at 11 AM.
