I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR OF REV. BARNDTS PASSING. I REMEMBER HIM AND LAURA WHEN THEY WERE IN ASHLAND AND ALSO TO OUR LITTLE COMMUNITY OF BUFFALO. THEY HAD NO CHILDREN AT THAT TIME. I OFTEN SPEAK OF THEM TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ABOUT THE GOOD "POT LUCK SUPPERS" THAT HE OFTEN SUGGESTED. WHAT GREAT MEMORIES! HE WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AS A GREAT SPIRITUAL INFLUENCE IN MY LIFE.

God has a great reward which Bill is now enjoying. He was more than a MACB member, he was a true ecumenist and a real brother to me. God bless you all.

I feel so privileged to have known your Dad. What a dear soul. In addition to all the great work he did in the world, he was a wonderful family man and neighbor. I am so thankful for the chance to have known him and all of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bill's family. It was a priviledge to work with him in COFP. He leaves a rich and wonderful legacy. He has shown us how to truly love others by his work.

So sorry for your loss. I remember well the good meetings we had in your home and elsewhere concerning world affairs, and especially conditions in the Philippines. Emma Ruth and I were missionaries there for almost 38 years, and we looked forward to seeing Bill and learning from his keen insight. I lost Emma Ruth last September, and I believe she is welcoming Bill in heaven. My prayers are with all of you.
