Cantleberry Charlotte Cantleberry, age 77, of Columbus, formerly Delaware, died Tuesday afternoon, February 18, 2014 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born on September 13, 1936 in Delaware County to the late Eugene and Helen (Peters) Blain. She was a homemaker and mother of eight children. Charlotte was a loving mother and grandmother and her grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved to read, listen to music, and grow flowers. She is survived by her children, RoAnna (Paul) Walters of Columbus, Patricia (Robert) Ward of Mount Gilead, Jim (Penny) Cantleberry of Marengo, Cherie (Cliffird) Hardman of Delaware, Eugenia (Rick) Brodnax of Columbus, Frances (Marvin) Ward of Columbus, Chris Cantleberry of Marysville, Tina (David) Cantleberry of Delaware; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; brother, Eugene (Harriet) Blain of Pataskala; sister, Ruth Ann (Ralph) Wood of Johnstown. Preceded in death by her husband James E. Cantleberry Sr. on July 19, 2003, infant son Brian, sister Helen Miller. Friends may call Friday at the DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury, from 10 a.m.-12Noon and the service will immediately follow at 12Noon. Interment will follow in the Fancher Cemetery.
