Antoinette Arena Mead Obituary
Mead Antoinette Arena Mead "Rene", age 95, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Worthington Christian Village. Retired from A&P Tea Company. Member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. Rene was the little helper, tiny but mighty. She never met a stranger and always made whoever entered her home welcome with a meal and conversation. She loved God and family, and was the life of every family gathering. Preceded in death by husband of 41 years, James M. Mead, parents Cosimo and Agostina (Sarraino) Arena, brothers Anthony Arena and Michael Arena, sisters Elizabeth Rossi, Maria Gugliematto, Marianna Collura, Frances Holman, Anna White. Survived by loving daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Ware; grandchildren, Jenna, Kelly and Ian Ware; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Brittany Ware; sister-in-law, Ann Arena; brother-in-law, Robert (Betty) Mead; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, February 28, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, OH.
