Kitchen Kenneth Merle Kitchen went home to be with the Lord on March 5, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born November 27, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Garnet Kitchen and brother Dennis Kitchen. Survived by his wife, Sook Kitchen; brothers, Woodrow "Woody" Kitchen (Rebecca) and Truman N. Kitchen; sister, Penny E. Brown; children, Cynthia, Teresa, and Kenneth Tempio; many nieces, nephews, and cousins who fondly called him "Nuckle". Kenneth, known as "BUTCH" was a retired Baker from A & P and a custodial worker at Peabody Noise Control. He liked pulling pranks and kidding around. One of his accomplishments was graduating from High School. Due to health problems as a child he didn't graduate until he was 21 years of age, a promise kept to honor his father who passed away at age 50 in 1965. He loved to cook and used the old cast iron skillets. He will be missed. Service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the WEIR-AREND FUNERAL HOME, 4221 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43214.
