Burnworth Norman J. Burnworth, Jr. age 69 of Columbus, passed away March 1, 2014. Norm graduated from Saint Augustine High School and was a veteran of the Navy. He also attended college at Old Dominion University. He had a successful career with Michigan Bell / AT&T for 25 years and Diocesan Publications for 20 years. He retired in 2013 and worked part-time for Concord Counseling Services driving Seniors to appointments and at Sears working in Sales. Survived by his loving family; wife, Marsha; sons, Steven (Rene Sorensen) Burnworth, Marc (FiancÃ©, Roz Meckulch) Burnworth and Doug Adams of Battle Creek MI; mother-in-law, Emogene Fry; brother-in-law, Gordon Fry. He also left behind three grandchildren. Following cremation, Norman will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI.
