Michael Cennamo Obituary
Cennamo Michael Cennamo, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Kobacker House with his family by his side into the arms of his brothers Louie, Donald and father, Anthony Cennamo who pre-deceased him. Michael was born June 16, 1946 in Washington, D.C., attended George Washington University receiving his bachelor's degree from Ohio University. Michael was a graduate of Whetstone High School, Class of 1964. Michael was a CAD operator until he began a decades-long struggle with liver disease, receiving a transplant in 2003. He was a strong advocate for organ donations and active with Lifeline of Ohio. He was also active in C.A. and was an officer in the organization, serving as a leader and role-model to many, earning a 28-year sobriety award. Michael is survived by his mother, F. Elizabeth Reiss; his son, Christopher A. Cennamo; brothers, Tom (Jeannie) and Arthur (Kathy) Cennamo; sisters, Mary Robison, Teresa Cennamo (Kirby Utt) and Judith Cowin (Joe); cousins Carl Raub and Ruth Ann Andrietti (Tony); numerous nieces, nephews and his dog, Riley. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12, 2014 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085, (614)-885-4006. Private family services will be held. His ashes will be scattered at his beloved family farm.
