Seipel Robert J. Seipel, Sr., 73, passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on March 26, 2014. Born on May 1, 1940 in Columbus, OH. Preceded in death by parents Carl and Hope Seipel, sister Catherine DePascale, brother William Seipel. Survived by wife of 52 years, Ann (Schwochow) Seipel; sister, Patricia Ludwig; sister-in-law, Mary Seipel; children, Laura (Michael) Crisp, Jeanette Castoe, Barbara (Mark) Cordle, Robert (Laurie) Seipel Jr.; grandchildren, Ryan, Abigail and Patrick Crisp, Alexander (Megan Smith) and Benjamin Castoe, Evan and Grant Cordle, Jacob, Connor and Grace Seipel; great grandchild, Broderick Castoe; numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was a 1958 graduate of Aquinas High School, active in Boy Scouts for many years and recipient of the St. George Medal, retired after 34 years from Columbia Gas. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 1068 S. High St., Columbus 43206. Prayer service 8 p.m. Friends and family will meet for Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday 10 a.m. at Pope John XXIII Catholic Church, 5170 Winchester Southern Rd. NW, Canal Winchester 43110.
