Jenkins Harry Jenkins, 76, passed away March 28, 2014 at Grant Medical Center. Born June 2, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Charles W. and Sarah L. Jenkins. At an early age he joined the Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cincinnati and later became a member of Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church in Columbus. After retiring from his job for the government in Washington D.C., he and Ernestine dedicated their lives to raising their children, adopting and fostering children. Preceded in death by brothers Charles W. (Beatrice) Jenkins, II, David E. Jenkins, sisters Loretta (Rudolph) Lee and Sarah L. (Joseph E.) Johnson. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Ernestine; children, Stewart Jenkins, and Angela D. Jenkins; adopted sons, Nathan (Angela) and Richard Jenkins; adopted daughters, India Jenkins, Jemia Brooks; brother, Michael K. (Karen) Jenkins; sisters, Marlene Jason, Janet M. (Simeon) Lyte, Catherine A. Burks, Pamela D. (Mike) Perkins, Yvonne Diaz Vazquez (Domingo); grandchildren, Christopher, Alexander, Matthew and Madeline Thomas, Allegra Jenkins and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 12Noon Thursday, April 3, 2014 Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church, 3650 Sunbury Rd., where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service.
