Seyfang Christopher B. Seyfang, 43, of Ashville, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 30, 2014. He was born on March 8, 1971 in Circleville to John and Sharon (Knece) Seyfang Sr. He attended Circleville Nazarene Church. Chris was a food director at Pickaway Ross Vocational Center and executive chef with State of Ohio and owned his own business, Chef Daddy's Catering. Christopher lived a life as a Christian servant. To quote Chris, "My favorite! Even though I have fallen short at times." Romans 12 1-3 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. He was a leader, quote from Chris, "If you don't like conflict don't be a leader." He was a loving father and told his children, "I Chose You!" Chris loved the people he worked with and has said, "The best part of my job is being around such wonderful people every day." At work, nothing made him prouder than a compliment about his cooking. Chris was a friend to many; he was positive, funny, and always smiling. Chris's last words to Miranda , "I love you." Christopher was once asked what his life goal is, to quote him, "To live a Godly life. To be a man of integrity." He was preceded in death by his father John Seyfang Sr., his mother Sharon Gee, by his sister Stephanie Bard, cousin Josh Hart and by aunt Kay Thompson. Chris is survived by his fiancé, Miranda Kime; his step-father, Jim (Sheila) Gee; children, Shane, Sarah, Colton, Hadleigh and Colin; brothers, John (Jodi) Seyfang Jr., Shannon (Brandy Quesinberry) Seyfang; aunt, Linda (Don) Davis; uncles, Jerry (Cris) Knece and Terry Thompson Sr.; nieces, Courtney Gibbs and Madison Seyfang; nephew, Cohl Seyfang; cousins, Troy (Shannon) Knece, Susan (Ken) Cheek, Heidi (Dale) Johnson, Gary, Terry and Larry Thompson; and by best friends, Marshall Akers and K.J. Loughman; and his extended family at Pickaway Ross Vocational Center.
