Gordon Samuel D. Gordon, age 75, departed this life on April 1, 2014. He was a Musician, proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, avid baseball fan, world traveler, fan of western movies, and devoted member of First Congregational Church. He was born in Charleston, WV to Nathaniel W. Gordon, Sr. and Mary Lou Strawther Gordon. Survived by brother, Nathaniel Gordon of Dunbar, WV; sisters, Bobbi Jean Chetham of Edmond, OK, and Carol Pearsall of Wilmington, NC; niece, Laura Clark of Dunbar, WV; special friend, Ruby Hunter; many friends at home and at First Congregational Church. Funeral 1 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014 at First Congregational Church, 444 E. Broad Street. Rev. Tim Ahrens, Officiant. The family will receive friends from 12Noon until time of service. Interment Tuesday at Teays Hill Cemetery in St. Albans, WV. Arrangements by C. D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave.
