Summer Judith L. Summer, age 88, passed away on April 9, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Babs Glazier (Mitch); sons, Fred Summer (Sandy) and Tom Summer (Sydney Licht); grandchildren, Samantha Kanter (Eric), Joshua Summer (Simone Gabel), Jeremy Summer (Lindsey Kirk), Scott Glazier (Joanna Ng), Matt Glazier, Alexa Summer (Dave Ragone) and Marguerite Summer; and two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Ari. Judith was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1925 and was 19 when she was sent to Auschwitz by the Nazis. She was liberated by the American Army in Czechoslovakia in 1945 where she met and married her first husband, Dr. Samuel Swerdlow who died in a traffic accident shortly after they moved to Columbus. She later married Joseph Summer, her husband for 59 years, who also preceded her. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 13th at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E.
