Modic Edwin K. Modic age 78, passed away April 19, 2014 from complications due to Alzheimer's at Winchester Place. Born in Cleveland, Ohio. During his childhood years, Ed lived in an orphanage in (Cleveland) and a foster home in (Warrensville). Ed enlisted in the U.S. Army, proudly serving his Country. Retired from Kroger Bakery (BCTGM Local 057). An avid Browns and O.S.U. Fan. He ushered at O.S.U. for 15 years. Member of the Monday Volunteer Crew serving a hot meal to the poor at Holy Family Soup Kitchen for 24 years. He enjoyed Wii Bowling and being around people at the Evans Senior Center in Grove City. Long-time member of Holy Family Church. Preceded in death by mother Frances Modic LaGrace. Survived by loving wife, Mary; sister-in-law, Joann Cormack; brother-in-law, Mike (Mary Alice) Cook; many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friend's Monday 4-7 p.m. at the MAEDER QUINT TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. HIGH ST. Rosary 7 p.m. PRIVATE GRAVESIDE SERVICE. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. Fr.
