Huneck Marijean Kline Huneck, age 83, died peacefully Friday, April 18, 2014. Jean was a kind and loving person who could light up a room with her smile. Her caring personality led her to a long career as a kindergarten teacher in the Columbus Public Schools. Jean was an active member of Upper Arlington Grace Brethren Church and the Clintonville Women's Club. Jean was a passionate Buckeye fan whose cheers could be heard all the way to the Horseshoe. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, James Huneck; children, Tim (Gina) Huneck, Tom (Sue) Huneck, and Andy Huneck; grandchildren, Emma, Austin and Aaron Huneck; sister, Carol (Don) Kindler; niece, Beth Bradshaw; and nephew, Doug Kindler. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 22, 1 p.m., at Upper Arlington Grace Brethren Church, 4065 Kenny Rd., Upper Arlington. A reception celebrating Jean's life will follow at the church.
