Frick Richard L. Frick, age 92, Columbus died April 17, 2014 at Altercare of Hilliard. He was born December 8, 1921 in Columbus, a son of the late Frank and Louise Frick. Retired from the General Electric Supply Company. Charter member and Member Emeritus of the Illuminating Engineering Society, Charter member of Lamplighters, Life member of the Downtown Sertoma Club of Columbus, Columbus Mannerchor, Bexley Historical Society, Bexley Celebrations Association, Capital Historical Society, Electric Bowling League and the Electric Golf League. Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and a Life Member of the American Legion Bexley Post 430. He played golf for South High School and was a member of the Electric Golf League. He was a member of St. Catherine Church, a Charter Member of the Knights of Columbus St. Catherine Council 11354, member of the Columbus Museum of Art, and operated the Eastman Colonial Shop in Dresden. Survived by a sister, Dorthe Flanagan of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Cannon Frick, a brother John Frick, and a sister Helen Mantor. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 21 at the DRESDEN CHAPEL of VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 714 Main Street, Dresden. A Christian Wake Service will take place at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 405 Chestnut Street, Dresden, Ohio with Rev. Father Don Franks, celebrant. Interment will be in the Dresden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dresden Fire Department, P.O. Box 687, Dresden, Ohio 438221-0687; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
