McQuade Elizabeth J. "Betty" McQuade, 97, of Commercial Point and formerly of Columbus, passed away Wed. April 16, 2014 in the home of her niece Molly and husband, John Myers. She was born Aug. 25, 1916 in New Straitsville, Ohio to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Watkins) McQuade. She retired after many years with DCSC, Columbus and was Veteran of the U.S. Army during W.W.II. Survived by brother, Bruf of Kansas ; and sister, Patty (Jim) Golden. She was a well traveled woman who is ending her journey in peace with her mom and dad, brothers Tom Bob Dick and Bill, sisters Marylouise Terapak and Evelyn Karshner, and her best friend Eleanor. Many thanks to Mount Carmel Hospice, with special thanks to Jeanene and Brenda both wonderful caring people. Aunt Betty requested to have no calling hours or services, she with be cremated and buried at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne. Arrangements by OLIVER-CHEEK FUNERAL HOME, Ashville.
