Boardman (Schneider) Mary A. (Schneider) Boardman, 92, passed away Easter Morning April 20, 2014 at Friendship Village of Dublin. Born February 3, 1922 to the late Joseph and Hazel (Robinson) Abel, New Athens, Ohio. Preceded in death by husband Ray R. Schneider, brothers Dwain and Joseph E. Abel, sisters Phyllis Klopfer and Ruth Cilles. Survived by husband, James S. Boardman; daughter, Barbara (Gloria Burke) Schneider of Columbus; son, Thomas (Victoria) Schneider of Eugene, Oregon; two grandsons, Zacree Schneider of Eugene, Oregon, Daniel (Lauren) Schneider of Nelson, British Columbia. Also survived by stepchildren, Ellen (Tim) Rook and Cynthia Boardman; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Retired from W.E. Monks and Robert Fuller & Assoc. engineering firms, in Clintonville. Member of North Broadway United Methodist Church, Chapter DE of P.E.O. Sisterhood, iota Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Family and friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085. A Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at at North Broadway United Methodist Church, 48 E. North Broadway, Columbus, OH, with Rev. Deborah Stevens officiating.
