Heurich John Henry Heurich, age 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2014. US Army Veteran. Retired owner of Ye Olde Sausage Shoppe in the North Market. Member of St. Marys Catholic Church of Groveport. Participated in the Germania Club and the Columbus Maennerchor. Preceded in death by wives Margot and Helene, children Robert, Rita Welsh and Thomas, parents Emil and Gisela. Survived by daughter, Angi (Brian) Williamson; grandchildren, Brandon (Lindsay) Welsh, Kyle Welsh, Kirsten and Colby Williamson; sisters, Rose Stout, Gertrude Hoy and Dorothy (Stan) Carter; numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friend, Bill Fox. Visitation will be Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main Street in Groveport. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10 a.m. at the St. Marys Catholic Church, 5684 Groveport Rd. in Groveport. Father Richard Metzger Celebrant.
