Montoy (Pulito) Kay (Pulito) Verna Montoy, 90, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on January 11, 1924 in Bellaire, Ohio to George and Verna Link. Kay grew up in Shadyside, Ohio and graduated from St. John's High School in Bellaire, Ohio. After high school she married Sam J. Pulito. They were happily married for 36 years until he passed away in 1980. In Shadyside, Kay was a member the St. Mary's church and was very active in volunteering for the annual summer church festival In 1985 Kay was married to Herman Montoy. Herman and Kay continued to live in Shadyside, Ohio and Newport Richey, Florida until he passed away in 2003. Kay was a resident of the Claremont Retirement Village in Columbus, Ohio and volunteered to assist many activities including games, bingo, church carpools and events. Kay could always be counted on to help other residents. Kay was preceded in death by her parents George and Verna, her brother Russell Link and her sister Esther Bosze. Kay is survived by her daughter, Carol Morgan (Kenneth) of Dublin, Ohio; her grandson, Christopher (Jennifer) Morgan of Wilmette, Ill; her granddaughter, Kimberly (Brian) Hoyt of Powell, Ohio; her great-grandchildren, Henry Morgan, Charles Morgan, Samuel Hoyt, Edward Morgan and Reagan Hoyt. A visitation will be held at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy Street (Powell Rd./St. Rt. 750/1/4 mile east of Sawmill Pkwy.), Powell, OH 43065 on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 3-6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at ST. PETER CHURCH, 6899 Smoky Row Road, Columbus, Ohio 43235 on Monday, April 28, 2014 beginning at 10 a.m. Reception immediately following Mass at church. Entombment Service will be at 4 p.m. at Mt.
