Bilikam Erma Lucille Bilikam, age 88, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Delaware Court Nursing Home. Erma was born in Auglaize County on January 11, 1926 and graduated in 1943 from Brown High School in Kilbourne. Throughout her life, she was a faithful member of two churches; the Berkshire and Ashley United Methodist Churches. Erma married Richard Bilikam on November 1, 1946 in Sunbury and they were married 68 years and were together till three weeks ago when Dick went to be with the Lord. Now they are together for eternity. Erma graduated from the Columbus School of Cosmetology and was a beautician. For many years Erma and Dick lived on Wayside Farm, east of Kilbourne, where Erma assisted on the farm. She also was a homemaker, worked at the Ribbon Factory and at the library of Ohio Wesleyan University. Erma was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Sara Moore Home and was a founding member of the Kilbourne Mother's Club. Erma and her husband loved to travel and had visited 48 states. They especially loved New England and traveled there for 20 straight years. Erma also loved flowers, animals, and her grandkids and great-grand kids. Erma is survived by her two children, Ben (Ann) Bilikam, and Amy (Ron) Ruggles; three grandchildren, Cindy (Jason) Des Jardins, Miles Bilikam, and Molly (Chad) Barnes; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Stiles and Vonna Fissel; neighbors, Jim and Evelyn Brookens, Harold Gerhardt, and Joey and Debbie Held. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Bilikam on April 10, 2014, her parents Clarence and Estella (Dudgeon) Stiles, three brothers Lloyd, Ferris, and Earl Stiles. The family appreciates all the support they were given three weeks ago at Dick's passing. Therefore the family will be observing a graveside service at the Oak Grove Cemetery on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 10 a.m. with Pastors Erin Porter and Mike Robinette officiating. Family and friends are asked to join the family at All Occasions Catering in Waldo following the service to share memories of Erma and Dick.
