Cook Mary Cook, 69, of Canal Winchester, moved to Canal Winchester, Ohio in April of 2007 from San Gabriel, CA and died on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at her residence. Born May 1, 1945 in Southern, CA, to the late Jules and Ruth (Collins) Veltman, Mary was a longtime member of the San Gabriel, CA Chamber of Commerce, the Sherriff's Relief Association Fund and a freelance writer and co-producer for several entertainers and television programs in Hollywood, CA. She is survived by her most loving daughter, Christina Cook of Canal Winchester; adored grand-daughters, Amanda, Lisa, and Ashley; cherished great-grandchildren Jayden Thomas and Leilani Marie. Many friends and her two cats, Casper and Sammy. In 2008, Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, John Thomas Cook. Friends may visit from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the DWAYNE R.
