Cook Ted Nicholas Cook, age 82, of Carroll, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 24, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness. Born July 3, 1931 in Columbus to the late Edward N. and Edith (Harris) Cook, he was a 1951 graduate of Bexley High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was the owner and founder of T.N. Cook, Inc. in Columbus. He was a longtime resident of Fairfield County and attended Believers Bible Church in Lithopolis. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda (Gamble) Cook; son, Daniel Edward (Linda) Cook, Carroll; daughter, Deborah (Jeffrey) Wagner, Cincinnati; grandchildren, Clayton and Cory Cook, Sydney, Shelbey and Sierrah Straub; sister, Neva Henley; nieces and nephew, Cheryl (Cook) Tharp, Diana (Cook) Gordon, Janet (Cook) Krumm and Gregory Henley. Preceded in death by his brother Donald E. Cook, sister-in-law Rosemary Cook, brother-in-law James Henley, and nephew Garth Henley. Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Andy Amos officiating. Interment will follow at Betzer Cemetery.
