Porschet Geraldine Ellen (DeBolt) Porschet, age 94 of Plain City, passed away Monday afternoon May 26, 2014 at the Gables at Green Pastures. Born September 2, 1919 on the farm on DeBolt Rd. 1938 graduate of Chuckery Darby High School and lifelong member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was a proud "farmer's wife" who loved gardening and spending time with her ever expanding family. Preceded in death by her parents William Lincoln and Zena (Dunfee) DeBolt, husband of over 40 years Leroy M. Porschet in 1978, brother George DeBolt, and son-in-law Bob Moder.Survived by her loving daughters, Marilyn (Russ) Nicol of Plain City, Lois Moder of Marysville, Debbie (John) Kunze of Dublin; eight grandchildren, Gary (Cindy) Nicol, Kim (David) Murphy, Brian (fiancée Pamela Field) Moder, Brandi (fiancé Jerry Gadberry) Moder, Randi (Gabriel) Zinser, Karla (Jerry) Moody, Lisa (Chris) Lape and Julie (Adam) Boyer; 15 great-grandchildren, Christopher Nicol, Kyle (Cindy Coy) Nicol, Amber (Alex) Mack, Greg Murphy, Brian Murphy, Justin Eckert, Travis Eckert, Devin Zinser, Zachery Zinser, Rebekah Lape, Timothy Lape, Katrina Lape, Jacob Boyer, Sarah Field and Jacob Field, four great-great-grandsons, Nathan Nicol, Christopher Nicol, Conner Nicol and Aaron Mack; and sister, Gladys Nichols of Plain City. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main Street, (St. Rte. 161W) Plain City. The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 7960 St. Ste. 38, Milford Center with Rev. Paul Schlueter officiating and burial at the church cemetery.
