Glazos Alberta "Kay" Glazos went to be with Lord on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at home. She was born August 5, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Mary Francis, sisters Betty Myers, Earline Francis and Mary Evelyn Romine and brother Jim Francis. She is survived by her beloved husband, George Glazos. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Martie Craig, Janet (James) Davis, Stephanie (Jason) Gamble; grandchildren, Tanya, TJ, Steven, Jay, Jennifer, Jodi, Jessica, Olivia, Mary, John; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (John) Lewis and Patty (Green) Sexton; sisters-in-law, Doris Francis, Elaine Athens and Joanne Glazos; lifelong friend, Darlene Baker; and a host of relatives and friends. She was a lifelong member of the Salvation Army and dedicated her life to serve the Lord and those around her. She was known to many as Kay, especially the countless children she cared for over the years. Kay's family will receive friends on Sunday, June 15, 2014, from 3-7 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, where her funeral will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow in Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Alberta's name to The Salvation Army--Lord's Table, 2300 W. Mound St., Columbus 43204. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com
