Ryan-Waggoner Barbara Ann Waggoner-Ryan, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at her home in Westerville, OH surrounded by her loving family. Barbara grew up in the small town of Grandfield, OK. She moved to Mt. Gilead, OH in the 60's to raise her family, with her husband the late Robert Waggoner. In addition to being a devoted mother, Barbara was a Wellness Manager at the Elizabeth Blackwell Center at Grant Riverside Hospital for 15 years. Her work through the Blackwell Center brought education to expectant mothers, comfort to breast cancer survivors and a little bit of sparkle to the gift shop. Barbara's work also included, organizing a bi-monthly senior's dance, gathering dancers for a great night of dancing and socializing. The world had a little more bling to it with Barbara around and she will be greatly missed. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Waggoner and her parents Emma Lucille Maines Gossett and Virgil Gossett. Survived by her present husband, Michael Ryan; children, Montgomery, Philip, Leslie and Robert; three granddaughters, Michele, Sarah and Rachel; one great-grandson, Kaiden; sisters, B.J. Lowe and Jean Malone; brother, David Barnes; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., on Sunday, June 15, 2014 in the Long FUNERAL HOME, 5528 Cleveland Avenue (one block south of SR 161) Columbus, OH, where funeral service will be 11 a.m., Monday, June 16, 2014.
