Dellinger Ruth A. Dellinger of Reynoldsburg, Ohio was called home by her Lord Jesus Saturday, June 7, 2014. She was born on March 27, 1928 to the late Marvin Hughey and Bessie Flora Curtin in Highland County near Leesburg, Ohio. Ruth was a member of the Reynoldsburg Alliance Church where she served and worshiped her Lord. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Charles Curtin and her three sisters Elsie Blade, Mary Blade, and Margaret Powell. She is survived by her brother Joseph John (Henryetta) Curtin of Wilmington, Ohio. She is also survived by her loving husband of 67 years, James E. Dellinger of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; two sons Dr. Michael E. (Stacey) Dellinger of Taipei, Taiwan, Mark S. (Deanna) Dellinger of Fairfax, Virginia; and her daughter Melinda A. (Reverend Jim Stone) Stone of Stoney Creek, Virginia. The joy and delight of her heart are her three grandchildren, Michael S. (Danielle) Dellinger, William J. Dellinger of Fairfax, Virginia and her granddaughter, Karen Anne Dellinger of Taipei, Taiwan; also her great grandson Cullen Kohls of Richmond, Virginia as well as many nieces and nephews who filled her life with love. She was a beloved wife and devoted mother. She taught Sunday School to many children for over 50 years and supported the missionary field so others would know the love of God the way she knew His love. She loved her family and she loved the Lord Jesus. May she rest in his loving arms. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E.
