Baljak Joseph J. Baljak, age 88, went to the Lord, Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Emigrated in 1951 from Policnik Croatia. Retired after 25 years at Owen Illinois Glass Company. Longtime member of Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #310, and St. Margaret of Cortona Church, including The Young at Heart's Club. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and Buckeye fan. Preceded in death by parents Mijat and Simica, sisters Lilian and Manda, brothers Frane and Mitar, son-in-law John Badurina, father-in-law and mother-in-law Marianne and Vincenzo Bucci, sister-in-law Lucy Baljak, brother-in-law Enrico Bucci. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Irene; daughters, Lillian Badurina, Rose (Michael) Pinciaro, Margaret (Donald) Smith, and Joann Huntzinger; grandchildren, Angela (Eric) Dodson, Nikola Badurina; Alison Pinciaro, Malory (Jon) Berkey, Jonna and Jessica Huntzinger; great-grandchildren, Nina and Lucija Dodson, Jonathan Berkey; brother, John Baljak; nieces Anita (David) Mitchell and Gina Baljak; nephew, Joseph Baljak; many other relatives in the U.S. and Croatia. Friends received Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with Prayer Service at 3:45 p.m. at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High Street.
