Riggs Martin Riggs, Sr., 81 of Grove City, passed away at Mt. Carmel West Hospital on June 21, 2014. Born on September 9, 1932 to the late James and Jeanette (Hope) Riggs in Rome, Ohio. Martin served his country during the Korean Conflict. Survived by wife of 63 years, Pearl (Moore) Riggs; children, Martin (Susan) Riggs, Jr., Doreen (Pat) Stephens, Dianne (Jack) Nunamaker, Robin Phillips and Duane (Karen) Riggs; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; great-great-granddaughter; and brother, Merrit Riggs. Preceded in death by son-in-law Robert E. Phillips, grandson Jason Stephens and sister Jeanette Finch. Friends may call at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, SW CHAPEL, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service on Thursday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, Ohio.
