Augur James A. Augur, 51, died suddenly on June 20, 2014 while traveling in London, England. Jim was a giant of a man with a giant heart. He was a man of Christ and lived and loved life to the fullest. He was born in Evanston, Illinois on November 16, 1962. He graduated from Thomas Worthington High School in 1980 and graduated with a BS in Food Science from The University of Illinois in 1985 where he was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity. He attended Heritage Christian Church and Vista Community Church. He enjoyed traveling, sports, and wood-working. But above all, he enjoyed spending time with the love of his life, Kandi, his two daughters, and all of his family and friends. He loved being a part of the church life group and helping anyone with any task at any time. Jim was the Plant Manager at Wyandot, Inc. in Marion, Ohio where he had worked for 15 years. Jim was preceeded in death by his mother Lois Augur and his father-in-law Charles Painter. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kandi. He is also survived by his daughters, Kasey Langwasser (Christian) and Lauren Augur; his father, Al Augur; sisters, Susan Niehaus (Paul), Cathy Augur; and brother, Hal Augur (Ann); sister-in-law, Jan Magner (Jeff); mother-in-law, Lois Painter; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great nieces. Visitation will be on Friday, June 27 from 2-6 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday June 28 at 11 a.m., Heritage Christian Church, 7413 Maxtown Road, Westerville, Ohio with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service.
