Behn Mary A. Behn, age 94 of Columbus, went to be with her Lord on 6/27/14 at Scioto Community Nursing Home in Columbus. Mary was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Chillicothe, Ohio. She was a former member of ARC 28, past president of Group E, OSU Mothers Club, and later a member of Group K; a member of the Clintonville Art Guild; and a Life Member of Riverside Methodist Hospitals Volunteers. Mary was preceded in death by her son Dorian E. Behn and her husband of over fifty years Robert C. Behn. Also preceding her in death were her first husband Charles F. Baker and brothers John Lawrence James and Robert Breen, sisters Regina Hawk and Sara Erich. She is survived by sons, Dave A. Behn, Chillicothe, OH, Stephen (Cindy) Baker, Rick (Jane) Baker, and Robert (Kay) Baker of Columbus. Other survivors include grandchildren, Laura (Dan) Corkrean, Karen (Mike) Cofojohn, Rick (Sandy) Meadows, and Judy Reed; great grandchildren, Ryan and Shawn Corkrean, Owen and Norah Cofojohn, Seth and Alex Meadows, Chris (Ashley) Reed, Lexi Hobson; and great-great grand child, Aymee Reed; many special nieces and nephews; and dear family friend, Linda Truax. The family will receive friends at WEIR-AREND FUNERAL HOME, 4221 N. High Street, Columbus 43214 (3 blocks S. of Henderson Rd.) on Monday June 30, 2014 from 5 - 8 p.m. A prayer vigil will be held starting at 7:30 p.m., lead by Deacon Jerry Butts. Funeral Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Church, 414 E. North Broadway, Columbus, OH 43214 on Tuesday 7/1/14 at 10 a.m., with Father Matthew Hoover officiating. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the Dorian E. Behn Memorial Leukemia Scholarship Fund at any PNC Bank.
