Welk Margaret A. Welk, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on July 2, 2014. She was preceded in death by parents Clair and Edna Tompkins, brother Ellis (Marian) Tompkins, sister Jeanne (Eldon) Matheny, and grandson Scott A. Welk. Survivors include her husband, Richard A. Welk; sons, Stephen (Carol) Welk and Scott (Patty) Welk; grandchildren, Kristin Welk, Brian (Lindsay) Welk, Robin Kubik, Julia Welk, Katherine Welk; great grandchildren, Lakota Welk-Fielder, Hannah Kubik and Caitlin Welk. Margaret was born in Glenbarn, North Dakota, on December 20, 1923, but lived most of her life in Winona, Minnesota, until her marriage to Richard in September 7, 1946. She was a member of Grove City United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at Grove City United Methodist Church, 2684 Columbus St., Grove City, Ohio on July 7, 2014 at 11 a.m., where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Private family burial will be held at Concord Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Memorial fund at Grove City United Methodist Church, or the .
