Thornton Mary Louise Williams Thornton, age 83, of Canal Winchester, died Friday, July 4, 2014 at her residence. Born July 29, 1930 in Cains Creek, KY to the late Charles & Emma (Brickey) Williams. She was an experienced hostess for family and friends, and was the owner of the Treasure Chest Boutique in Canal Winchester. She enjoyed her family and laughed with life! She is survived by her husband, Carl Thornton; children, Larry Thornton, Gregg (Patti) Thornton, and Jennifer Thornton; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Williams; sister, Nola Greever; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sisters Junis Madru and Ruth Anne Wright; and brother Buell Williams. Friends may visit 11am-1pm Tuesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Interment after at Green Lawn Cemetery. Special thanks to the folks at Acclaim Hospice for their care of Mary.
