Ralph Oda Loudenslager Obituary
Loudenslager Ralph Oda Loudenslager went home to be with the Lord on July 6, 2014. He was born on August 13, 1925, to Charles and Iva (Swick) Loudenslager in Vanlue, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Donna of 57 years, infant daughter Sandra Kay, sons Gary and Terry, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by sons, Michael (Susan) Loudenslager of Cincinnati, Jeffrey (Jayne) Loudenslager of Hilliard; daughters-in-law, Roxie (Gary) Loudenslager of NC and Sara (Terry) Loudenslager of Hilliard; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and expecting the 10th; brother-in-law, Carlton (Paula) Fruth of Findlay, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Carole Gainsley of Findlay, Ohio, and Evelyn Thompson of Mundelein, IL; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many friends at Cypress Wesleyan Church, neighbors in The Glenn and special friends, Randy and Patty Wiseman of Plain City and Leonard and Joyce Bayer of Tiffin, OH. He retired from Signal Delivery Service (Sears) as Parts Manager, a member of Teamsters Local 413 and also a member of Cypress Wesleyan Church for the past 28 years. In his retirement he enjoyed his hobby of wood crafting, playing euchre and spending time with his family and friends. After the loss of his wife in 2000, he became a vital member of the Single Seniors group at his church. Family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Cypress Wesleyan Church, 377 Alton and Darby Creek Rd., Galloway, OH 43119 with Pastor Dale George officiating. Interment Alton Cemetery.
