Eleanor Jeanne (Krumm) Gerhardt Obituary
Gerhardt (Krumm) Eleanor Jeanne (Krumm) Gerhardt, age 90, passed to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survived by Charles, husband of 71 years. Family members cherishing her memory include daughter, Linda Sommer (Bob); son, David Gerhardt (Connie); daughter, Nancy Miller (Ron); son, Bill Gerhardt (fiancé, Kathy); daughter, Peggy Nicolai (Bill); former daughter-in-law, Betty Gerhardt, and niece, Diane Clay. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, including granddaughter, Michelle Nolen Kiner; and 14 great-grandchildren in whom she delighted. She was preceded in death by her daughter Patty Gerhardt Nolen and grandson Joseph Nolen, sisters Charlotte Krumm Albert and Juanita Krumm Frank. Jeanne was a lifelong resident of Columbus, graduating from South High School in 1941. She was active in the Helvetia Beneficial Society (Swiss Club) and Maennerchor for over 50 years. Other memberships included Children's Hospital Wing #43 and Westerville Presbyterian Church. She was an avid card player, and loved Euchre and Bridge, playing with family at all gatherings and with the Fourth Thursday Bridge Group of Westerville. Jeanne worked at F & R Lazarus and later as a Realtor for Homeline Realty, specializing in the Little Turtle area. She also enjoyed her time as the Editor of the 'Turtle Talk' newsletter. Friends received Friday, July 11 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 South High Street, where Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
