Wilson Dana C. Wilson, age 59, of Sunbury, died Friday morning, July 11, 2014 at St. Ann's Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 17, 1955, in Lima, Ohio to Charles D. Curry and the late Mary Ann (Irvin) Curry. Dana graduated from Northland High School in 1973 and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Otterbein College in 1977. On November 11, 1978, she married the love of her life, Dennis Wilson. Dana was an office manager at Jack Maxton Chevrolet where she worked for the last 43 years. Dana attended Condit Presbyterian Church. In addition to being a longtime volunteer at Big Walnut Friends Who Share, she was very involved with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 123 where she was Advancement Chair. She loved camping and traveled to 43 states. She enjoyed keeping up with all of the extended family but cherished most her time spent with her children and granddaughter. She is survived by her son, Ed Wilson of Sunbury; daughter, Melody (Ben) Braun of Dublin; granddaughter, Emily Braun; father, Charles D. Curry of Columbus; sisters, Linda Thompson of Canal Winchester and Jean (Yaakov) Phalen of Oak Park, Michigan; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Dennis. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury, where funeral service will be held Monday 11 a.m. with Pastor Wayne Stunts officiating.
