Brosnan Virginia Ann (Regensburger) Brosnan, age 84, of Powell, OH passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 17, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband John L. Brosnan and her brothers Bill Regensburger and Aloysius "Bud" Regensburger, she is survived by her children, Ginny M. (Edward) Hazelett of Jersey City, NJ, Julie Brosnan of Powell, Margie (Steve) Emmert of Chantilly, VA, Ann (Steven) D'Andrea of Ft. Myers Beach, FL, John (Karen) Brosnan of New Albany, OH, Mary Brosnan of Powell and Jim (Dawn) Brosnan of Westerville, OH; her 12 grandchildren, Eddie Hazelett, John Hazelett, Denys Emmert, Kyle Emmert, Alyssa Emmert, Cody (Ashley) Moore, Matthew Brosnan, Kayla Brosnan, Trevor Brosnan, Emilie Brosnan, Travis Brosnan and Shannon Brosnan; her great-grandchild, McKenna Hazelett; sister, Mary Wissing of Cincinnati; her brother, Jack (Rita) Regensburger of Cincinnati; and many friends. Active in the St. Joan of Arc Women's Club, Virginia was a former member of the Dublin Senior Center. Virginia worked for 17 years with the Columbus Public Schools as a food service manager. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. TUESDAY, JULY 22, 2014 at ST. JOAN OF ARC CATHOLIC CHURCH, 10700 Liberty Road, Powell, OH 43065 where family will receive friends before the Mass from 10-11 a.m. The Reverend James Black will celebrate the Mass. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH. If they choose, friends may make memorial contributions to the , PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 www.cancer.org.
