Bodley Sally Jean Bodley, 84, of Bonita Springs, Florida left this earth for her heavenly home on Sunday, July 6, 2014. Sally was born in Flint, Michigan on April 18, 1930 and was preceded in death by her parents Cleo and Edna Brink, her sisters June Brink Berger and Ann Brink Harris. Sally graduated from Bronson High School in 1948 and attended Eastern Michigan University. She settled in Columbus, Ohio in the late '60's and worked at the Huntington National Bank for 20 years as a Teller Trainer and Credit Adjuster. Sally was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Columbus, Ohio for many years, serving on the vestry and the altar guild. While living in Columbus, she volunteered at Riverside Methodist Hospital and with the American Red Cross, and was also the treasurer of the Columbus Bonsai Society in 1996 - 2000. In 2002, Sally moved to Bonita Springs to be near family. She was a vital member of St. Monica's Episcopal Church in Naples where she volunteered in the office and was a member of the Altar Guild. She also attended St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Bonita Springs. She is survived by sons, Eric S. Bodley of Bonita Springs, Florida, and Elwyn J. Bodley II of Watertown, New York; as well as grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, and Deanna Bodley, all of Bonita Springs Florida. A memorial service celebrating Sally's life will be held at St. Monica's Episcopal Church, 7070 Immokalee Road, Naples FL 34119, on July 26, 2014 at 3 p.m. with a reception immediately following. A memorial service for the internment of her ashes will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 3400 Calumet Street, Columbus, OH 43214, at a date in late July or early August. (TBA) The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, to please give a donation to St. Monica's Episcopal Church, or St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
