Wetherell (Jackson-Basing) Dorothy Eileen Wetherell (Jackson-Basing), of Pataskala, born April 23, 1921, went to be with the Lord July 20, 2014. She was born to the late Earl and Ina (Court) Basing in Baltimore, Oh. Dorothy was a member of St. Michaels United Church of Christ in Baltimore and was an incredible domestic engineer. Dorothy never knew a stranger and she was always ready to help others. She shared enough love with her family and friends to last several lifetimes and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by husbands Robert Wetherell, Dallas Jackson; sisters Evelyn England, Pauline Wetherell Glascock; and brother Francis Basing. Dorothy is survived by her son, Michael (Sharon) Jackson; daughter, Carol (Melvin) Reed; sister, Ruth Ann (Orris) Mumford; granddaughter, Angela (Michael) Byers who lovingly cared for her many years; grandchildren; John, Robert, Angela, Tonyea, Travis, Shelly and Tracy; Great grandchildren, Alicia, Taylor, Nathan, Amanda, Sean, Raquel, Raven, Brea, Jael, Camron, Ava, Tyler, Angelina, Alek, Nichole, Alivia and Steven; Great-great grandchildren, Sophie, Destini, Sincere, Midori, Demitri and Vincent; and many nieces, nephews & friends. Friends may call at PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 7915 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, on July 23, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. Her graveside service will be held on Thursday, 11 a.m at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore, friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
