Smith Gary Lee Smith, age 69, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away at his home on July 23, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Joan; sons, Andrew and Matthew; and brother, Robert. Gary was a graduate of Whetstone High School and attended O.S.U. and Ohio Dominican College. He was president of Harbor Shores, Inc. and a licensed waste water treatment plant operator in Key West, Florida and later, co-owner of Security Glass Block Inc. of Columbus, Ohio. Some of Gary's many titles include: grill master, accomplished saltwater sports fisherman, scuba diver, marksman, woodworker, songwriter, tub bass virtuoso, and member of the critically acclaimed Dung Duo, "Trailer Trash Golf" champion and holiday exterior illumination engineer. Most importantly, Gary loved life and was a constant source of laughter and joy to all who knew him and the most loving and generous husband and father anyone could have. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date. Contributions may be made to Ohio Health Hospice or The Capital Area Humane Society.
