Eckfeld Glenn Eckfeld, of Dublin, passed away July 31, 2014 in Mesa, AZ. He was born December 8, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Kay Melsop Eckfeld, whom he married May 23, 1970; son, Brian Eckfeld; two daughters, Kimberly Eckfeld and Tiffeny (Russ) Bottari; three grandchildren, Jack, Ethan, and Sam; mother, Emily Simon; brother, Tom (Linda) Eckfeld. He was preceded in death by his father Abie Simon. He was an avid reader, an OSU football fan, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He created a Vietnam Website to re-connect with fellow servicemen. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 8, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 9 at 11 a.m. conducted by St. Michael Catholic Church at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME.
