Etter Bonnie Sue Etter, 78, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on August 11, 2014, surrounded by family and friends, after a long battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents Frank "Pete" and Marie Childers, husband Jesse Etter, Sr., brothers Jerry and Frank Childers. She is survived by son, Jesse Jr. (Jody) Etter; daughter, Susanna (Tony) Simpkins; granddaughters, Bernadine, Amy, and Jessica Etter; sisters, Betty Steele and Mary Deboard; brother, Ira Ray (Alma) Childers; sister-in-law, Joanie Childers; many more nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bonnie loved her family and her Lord. She enjoyed making jewelry and was known to everybody on the internet as Citysue. She had a true talent and zest for food, and everyone enjoyed her cooking. Bonnie will be greatly missed. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 13, from 5-8 p.m. at COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. Reverend Bill King officiating.
