Cook Ernest G. Cook, Jr., age 63, passed away on August 12, 2014, at Mount Carmel East Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born January 8, 1951 in Columbus. Ernie was a former Deputy with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and most recently, owned and operated a remodeling company. He will be remembered for his love of cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Ernie is survived by his daughter, Erica (Chris O'Neill) Cook; grandchildren, Corben Bope, Rylan O'Neill; sister, Jeanine (James) Moore; brothers, John Barker, Kevin Barker; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Winifred Barker and father Ernest Cook. A visitation will be held on SATURDAY, August 16, 2014, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, where his funeral will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial in the Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
