Hahn Robert J. Hahn "Jim", "Bodie", age 70, of West Jefferson passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 30, 1944 in Pike County, the son of the late Starling and Mildred Hahn. Jim retired from General Motors October 1, 1999 after 31 1/2 years. He attended Harvest Chapel Church. Jim was preceded in death by brothers Walter and Charles, a sister Luretta, and father-in-law David Ogilvie. He married Susan Ogilvie Hahn 47 years ago on June 23, 1967. Survivors include wife, Susan; sons, Jamie and Mike (Kim) Hahn; grandchildren, Caleb, Madison, Joshua, and Zachary Hahn; brothers, Don (Terri), Ron (Linda) and Oliver Hahn; sister, Judy Jones; mother-in-law, Jean Ogilvie; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Mary Whitaker; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Dick Rice. Jim was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Family and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday in the RADER-MCDONALD FUNERAL HOME, West Jefferson where Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Paul Burgett officiating. Burial will follow in Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson.
