Mann Clarence (Casey) Mann, age 90, of Westerville, peacefully entered into the arms of his Lord Jesus Christ on August 16, 2014. Born June 1 ,1924 in Central College, Ohio to Archie and Leoin Mann. Casey lived his entire life in the Westerville area. After World War II service in the U.S. Navy as a signalman, he began a long and independent career as a General Contractor. Member of Central College Presbyterian Church. Casey published an extensive autobiography in 2013 and it may be read at the History Center at Westerville Public Library. Survived by his wife, Sally; children, Kristy (Mac) Yates of Akron, OH, Tobin (Jayne) Mann of Lancaster, OH, Benn (Lynn) Herr of Phoenix, AZ, Susan (Rick) Gale of Westerville, Max (Efeida) Herr of Kuala Lumpor, Malaysia and Jack (Lorraine) Herr of San Francisco, CA; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Naomi (Dick) Rosensteel of Holland, MI. Preceded in death by his parents, first wife Edna, and his brother Clyde Mann. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 5-8 p.m. Service will be held at Central College Presbyterian, 975 S. Sunbury Road, Westerville, Friday at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Malcolm Davis, officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. No flowers please. Casey actively supported several charities, contributions may be made in his memory to Central College Presbyterian Church's Honduras Mission or Food Pantry, or to Heifer International, 1 World Avenue, Little Rock, AR 72202.
