Edmonds Charles Robert Edmonds "Bob", 97, of Hilliard passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014. He was born January 1, 1917 to the late Joseph and Daisy Hargrave Edmonds in Cambridge, Ohio. Survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Mary Louise Stephan Edmonds. Bob served in the Navy and was honorably discharged as a combat veteran of WWII. He was a member of First Community Church and worked for the State of Ohio for twenty-five years before retiring and spending twenty years in Palm Harbor, Florida enjoying golf and traveling. He will be missed by daughter, Karen (Paul) Boreman; and son, Stephan (Julie) Edmonds; grandchildren, Craig (Lydia) Boreman, Kathy (Ryan) Rekstis, Charles Boreman, Christie (Tom) Burns, Stephanie (Brice) Bunner, Peter (Tiffany) Edmonds, John (Alexis) Edmonds; great-grandchildren, Justin, Kaden, Lily, Cecilia, Turner, Everett, Sophie, Garrison, Atherton, Edmond, Sebastian, Crimson, Ellia, Remae, Nola, and Hollis. Bob was preceded in death by brothers Jack and Richard and survived by brother, William Edmonds, The Villages, Florida; and brother-in-law, David Stephan, Cincinnati, Ohio. There will be a private graveside funeral for the family. Arrangements provided by RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Hospice.
