Campbell, P.C.J. Sister Mary Goretti Campbell, P.C.J. a Sister of the Poor Child Jesus died on Friday, August 29, 2014, at Mohun Health Care Center run by the Dominican Sisters of Peace. She was born in Liverpool, England on January 29, 1919, to the late William and Margaret Campbell. Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Poor Child Jesus on December 29, 1952, at St. Raphael's Convent in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Sister served for most of her religious life in Parkersburg as a Kindergarten teacher and housekeeper at the St. Raphael's Pre-K and Kindergarten School.In 1999 she retired from teaching because of ill health. Sister was transferred to Our Lady of Bethlehem Convent in Columbus, Ohio. In 1993 at the request of the General Superior, Sister was transferred to and confined to the Nursing Home of the Sisters of the Poor Child in Blankenberg (Netherlands). Due to unforeseen circumstances Sister had to return to the U.S.A. in 1999 where she was then accepted as a patient and received with much love, kindness and loving care at the Mohun Health Care Center. Sister spent many happy years during her retirement at Mohun Health Care Center. Always joyful, smiling, singing and reciting prayers and rhymes. Sister also is preceded in death by two sisters, from Liverpool, England. Survivors are two nieces and grandnieces. Funeral Mass 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at Mohun Health Care Center Chapel, 2340 Airport Drive, Columbus, with visitation to follow from 1-2 p.m. She will be buried at Mt.
