Sharon Eva (Beckwith) Alexander, 71, of Johnstown, OH, passed from death to eternal life in glory, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, OH. Sharon was a career first grade teacher at Good Shepherd Christian Academy in Pataskala, Painesville Christian Academy in Painesville, OH and retired from Licking Heights Schools in 2013. She worked alongside her pastor husband, Calvin, for over 50 years in roles including starting new churches, music, missions, VBS and teaching. She was the ultimate godly, gentle lady so loved by those who knew her. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Harold V. and Cecile B. (Towsley) Beckwith and brothers Ralph and James Beckwith. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Calvin A. Alexander; sons, Kenneth Alexander, Christopher Alexander and her "adopted" son, Tim Chak. A celebration of life memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 3 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Daybreak Church, 1226 Pike St., Etna, OH 43018, with Dr. Daniel Tipton officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Daybreak Church Missions Fund in Sharon's memory. Arrangements handled by CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME. So sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. How well I remember her playing the piano at the Bangor Maine Nazarene Church and Pastor Cal's excellent preaching. Such a dynamic team for the Lord. May the Lord comfort you with His peace and presence during this difficult time. Praying for you and your family.
